Best Roast Pork In London
Where can you find the best roast pork in London?
5 restaurants serving the best roast pork in London – excluding pork belly, which deserves its own page:
Sussex Bar & Restaurant, Soho
Loved: Everything. The quality of ingredients was excellent, veg super, crispy yorkie with bone marrow a dream - pork and gravy really good too. Just book it.
Loathed: Nothing really. I wasn't keen on either their pale ale or lager, and the crackling wasn't done properly on the pork, and their Instagrim handle calls themselves a "resto"...urgh. Otherwise...just book it.

Blacklock, Canary Wharf
Loved: Best dessert in London, addictive gravy, pork loin that is illegally tender, banging roasties...so much to love here.
Loathed: I'm being picky, but the yorkie was respectable - not superb, I'm sure the gravy used to be even better, the cauliflower cheese wasn't quite as outstanding as previous, and service didn't quite have the pizazz that I've had before.

Blacklock, Covent Garden
Loved: The pork loin was excellent - a slight smokiness to it, some real succulence to it and delightful trimmings of fat
Loathed: Service wasn't to expectations, on the curt side - gravy was thinner than usual though still very good.

The Duchess, Marylebone
Loved: Meats were particularly good - juicy chicken supreme, great texture on pork leg and silky beef.
Loathed: Yorkshire pudding was just a huge mass of dried-out batter that had been sitting under a heat lamp for far too long.
